(Your Possibility + My Plan) x Our Partnership = Profitable Optimist
The Optimistic Nudge of Possibility
It all starts with the tiny nudge that there might be something more. The belief in yourself that you can make an impact with the insights and experiences of your life to better the world in some way.
Maybe it’s the belief that you can make money doing work that you love. For others its finding ways to work less and make more.
That optimism is what has you take the first step and start your own business.
Because you are smart and resourceful you are met with considerable success until…
The Cruel Smack of Reality Hits You Square Between the Eyes
You’re working harder than you want to be.
You’re making just enough to make ends meet (or you’re not saving for retirement).
You’re distracted by the latest bright, shiny object (Facebook, Book Writing, Viral Marketing, Creating Infoproducts).
Is it really possible to take all that creativity and passion and enthusiasm and turn it into something profitable and not go crazy in the process?
If you weren’t so optimistic you might just think to give up. Instead you find yourself believing that you’ll figure something out-that you will find a way. Somehow that lead you here.
Welcome Home Profitable Optimists, This is YOUR Place!
Let me stop you right here.
Are you sure you’re in the right place? Here are 3 things to help you confirm you are in the right place.
First, I know most of you aren’t solely about making “cold hard cash”. You started your business with the sincerest intentions of helping people right? (If you did – you’re in the right place!)
Second, I need you to agree with one fundamental success principle. The single goal of any business is to make a profit. If you’re not making a profit then you’re not really running a business. It’s a hobby or a charity. (If you’re serious about building a business that’s profitable – you’re in the right place!)
Third, I believe you can build a business without sell your soul in the process. Yes you will probably have to step outside your comfort zone but you should never have to alter your integrity to build your business. (If you’re serious about building a ethical, heart-centered business -you’re in the right place!)
What Got You Here Won’t Get You There
So where does that leave us?
You’ve got a huge belief that your meant to do something in this world. Your committed to building a profitable business. But you’ve got 2 major problems.
The first problem for most optimists is that they have an abundance of ideas, they love to learn about ways improve and grow but they don’t often have a plan in place for turning possibility into reality.
The second problem for most optimists is that they don’t have a network of support to help them along the way. You must have people you can call on to walk you through those breakdown moments that come right before the breakthroughs. You’ve got to have people who can celebrate with you the small wins that snowball into big victories. You need people to remind you the possibilities for a life you LOVE is limitless.
