Dear Coach, Consultant or Advisor,
It’s Sunday morning, July 15. I’m sitting on the back patio of my bedroom half pinching myself for this amazing experience I’ve created for myself (more on that later) and half scratching my head-perplexed by another experience I’ve created.
You see next Saturday, July 21 I’m supposed to be holding a private client mastermind retreat here at the Beach House. I’ve spent months planning and preparing for this special day of high-level business strategy and personal development plus just the right amount of fun–all to take place at this amazing beach side mansion I’m living in right now.
I’ve just heard that 2 of my clients will not be able to attend due to last minute family emergencies.
I think…Do I continue on with the retreat with just 4 people and settle for something a little less fabulous than the dream I’ve been holding for this special day?
My heart says…No! The show must go on and why don’t you just find two more people who need this opportunity to break through in their business!
I think… That’s crazy! Who could show up last minute? What if I can’t find 2 people who are a perfect fit for the group?
My heart says…Sit down at the computer and write! There are people on your list who this email will come to and they will be like-Oh My Goodness! This is exactly what I’ve been wishing for!

What You Can Expect
Let me tell you a little bit about my intentions for Saturday.
Each of the 6 business owners gets the attention of the group on them for 45 minutes! You can use this time however you choose.
You can present a problem or challenge to the group and get popcorn style feedback from the group members. Popcorn style simply means that everyone in the group shouts out their ideas and comments as they think of them. It’s so amazing what a collective mind can do to completely change your perception on your value, worth or rates 🙂
You can present your signature talk, some copywriting piece your working on, or anything else you want feedback on from the group. Then one at a time, each of the other participants gives their feedback on the material presented. This is a great opportunity to practice your sales conversations, your signature talk or get great feedback on program components or sales strategies.
In addition to the time you get to spend in the spotlight, you’ll gain immeasurable value from participating in giving feedback to the other group members. I know that in the mastermind retreats I participate in I often get more from participating in the group.
Last but not least, you can’t expect to spend time with me and not have fun! Have I shown you the pictures of the amazing back yard? After your brain is fried, you’re welcome to stay for a relaxing dip in the pool or hot tub or just get lost with a book in the luscious foliage. Or perhaps you’d like to cross the street and stick your toes in the ocean sand.
